First OCC challenge

This is my first attempt at the challenges on OCC, hope you like it, the stamp is from SU, and the paper is some I found in my stash. I inked over the ribbon to change the shade to match the cardstock.

It's been a while

Hi all , its been a while since my last foray into the world of blogging, I seem to be eternally busy at the moment. I have been away for a couple of weekends, and spend time babysitting my lovely grand daughter Madeline every week, along with sewing and of course making a few cards here and there.
These are a few I have made since I last saw you.

Last nights efforts

These were made during a crafting
get together with Mrs T and RSEmpress,
the easter card was made with Daisy and dandelion stamps
and Art Impression stamps on a chalked background,
and the Giraffe(my fave) was matted and layered
onto animal print glitter card,

A little of what you fancy

My Brief for this card was that 'The lady likes white wine, so I have tried to make this a little more feminine by adding the grape vine, and ribbon.

The stamp is white wine by stamps happen, and the vine was from a set by mary hughes, at papercraft 4 you. It was coloured with polychromos pencils, and I used glossy accents on the glass and grapes.

Dream of a day

I had an absolute dream of a day yesterday, Myself,, Jackie from craft designs, Di from a crafty nutter, Pauline (yet to become a blogger) and Pam from hand crafted with love, all met at the lovely Viv's house, Viv of course is the highly talented lady from crafting haven, for a day of crafting (well may be only a little bit of crafting) lots af laughing and a lovely curry prepared by Viv's husband.

I actually did make a card, and this is the result of raiding Viv's bit box.

Hello Sailor

This card was asked for by a friend whose husband used to be in the navy,

For the red white and blue theme I used a Pink Petticoat striped background

which I added a red stripe to, some plain red and Navy card from The Paper Mill Shop,

an image off of the net, and Papermania letter stamps.

Life has been a tad busy lately, but all seems to be calming down a bit now, and I have finally got round to attempting the Thursday challenge on the stamps and smiles blog, hope its what was wanted.

Just noticed it looks a funny shape, I assure you it is straight, its my photography that is rubbish.

Challenge card 4

Hi, It has been a bit frantic this week, I will be glad when it settles down a bit. Had to take my daughter back to hospital today to get her wound checked out.

She will be stopping with me for a while longer.

Beautiful Blog Candy

Hi All,
I haven't been around for a while, and I have been trying to get to grips with creating a link to another site, but I think I may have it at last, so here it is.
I have been browsing on Jeanettes Pages, and she has some great Blog Candy to give away and some lovely cards to look at, closing date is 7th Feb, so dont delay.
